Euro Crisis - to members of parliament

In my opinion it would be illegal if you decide to use substantial sums of taxpayers' money to finance the budget deficits of other EU states.

Such a decision is not covered by constitutional law. The Parliament may well give away money (redistribution). But this is only authorised in the context of the defined concerns of the constitutional law, for example, for the socially deprived within this country. The constitutional law is national and is not EU-wide.

In my opinion, you would be acting illegally if you would vote for substantial grants to other EU member states or to banks. Even an abstention would not be permitted. I think you are legally obliged to reject it explicitly.
